Psalm 45 and some off topic conversation <3

Good evening my fellow Bible Studiers!

Try and keep up tonight, the study gets quite interesting and do feel free to comment you thoughts or ask questions if you are confused or concerned with anything. Happy Reading:

Read over the chapter – does anything jump out at you?

Yes, in verse 7 it says, “Therefore God, Your God…” What does this mean? This is referring to God the Father and God the Son (Jesus). God is the moral purpose and is supreme. God the father is anointing God the Son and is telling some of the prophecy that will soon unfold in the New Testament. So did those readying this text back then understand what “Therefore God, Your God..” meant? To a degree they understood just like to a degree we understand. We know that it talks about God the Father and God the Son; they knew it was referring to the prophecy of God; however, this text will never make complete sense to us in our human nature. You have to understand that the only human form of God was his Son, Jesus. God was not reincarnated. Also, remember that the only “people” to see God the Father were Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden before they ate from the Tree of Knowledge and sin infested us creating our human nature to be impure. Moses only sees a glimpse of God passing by and even from this glimpse Moses’ robe starts to “glow” from the Glory of God. To see God the Father would kill human because God is so pure and we, in human form, are born into a sinful world. Light and Darkness can NOT be together!

This Psalm is referring to a crowned prince or the marriage of a king and queen – a royal event. By looking at Hebrews 1: 8&9 you can interpret this Psalm:

Hebrews 1:8-9

New International Version (NIV)

But about the Son he says,

“Your throne, O God, will last forever and ever;
a scepter of justice will be the scepter of your kingdom.
You have loved righteousness and hated wickedness;
therefore God, your God, has set you above your companions
by anointing you with the oil of joy.”[a]

  1.  Psalm 45:6,7

Who is the King?       God is the King and he is a God of righteousness. Just like Christ Jesus the King here is described as a mighty warrior. We know the king is God because he is the only one whose throne will endure forever and ever, no human king not even David, will reign forever and ever.

Is this Psalm a wedding? Yes, it is about a royal wedding between God/Jesus Christ (groom) and the Church (the bride).

The place referred to as “Ophir” is near Sadie Arabia and is known for their gold and jewels. What comes to mind when you think of Saudi Arabia, Gold, and Jewels? ALADDIN!! Now, we can’t say Aladdin is bible based but if it does give you a thought about what the place was like.

Broken down we see the Old Testament is in 4 sections:

  1. 5 books of law,
  2. 12 books of history,
  3. 5 books of poetry,
  4. 17 books of prophets
  5. 12 books of minor prophets, and 5 books of major prophets

The Psalms and the Proverbs are what were read within the temple.

Vs. 10-14.) The King wants what is best for the Bride and the when you come to the place with God you will know that this journey and faith walk is not about worldly things.

The New Testament describes the church as the bride and that when we reach heaven we will endure agape love. 1 Corinthians 13. Love is the only thing that is eternal. Although it is hard for us to wrap our human minds around this concept of love we need to know and remember that God is going to continue to pour our his love and grace onto until the last second we have, the last breath we take.

We will go to the Marriage Supper of the Lamb- which means the church will be taken away and we will endure the 2nd coming of Christ where there will be ONE BIG P@RTY for 1,000 years! This party invites all born again Christians that have a new spirit.

So, when you go to heaven you will know people there and it won’t be in a physical form but a spiritual form. You will not need a “companion” because you will have God’s love. You feel their spirit but it will be on a different plane. You won’t feel the “former things” like pain or suffering. Why will God wipe every tear then? Everyone HAS suffered and he wipes those tears. The key is in heaven right now so check the bible! People aren’t really in heaven yet, they are in “Paradise”. Jesus said to the thief on his right “Today you will be with me in Paradise”. Jesus did not say heaven. Therefore we will not enter into heaven until the 2nd coming when the dead in Christ will rise again and our bodies will be perfected and our spirits will be with Christ.

Can people look down and see us from Paradise? There is a great cloud of witnesses cheering us on but there is no sorrow. They can look down and see us only in our joyous moments because Jesus sits at the right hand of God and makes a “block” so they cannot see the “sorrows”.

Can we see ghosts? No! There are either good or bad spirits. The good are angels and the bad are demons. We have to understand that with any good there is always evil. This being said sooth Sayers and medians would be in the evil category with the Devil and Satanic. There’s evil; it’s real and it is the devil sending demons.  Demonology is revealed but only through the devil.

Sin is fun for a season but is made through the devil and evil deeds. If it’s not in the bible though it ISN’T true. Other religions have other bibles but this bible says truth and look in Revelation 22: 18-19.

Revelation 22:18-19

King James Version (KJV)

18 For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book:

19 And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.

Try to read the Book “90 minutes in heaven” it describes some of what you’ll see in heaven.

A child has faith that is so pure and so they may see these angels in somewhat of a different dimension so to say. It is almost like they have a different sense, like the little ones have a window in that is open to God and just to follow and love him. That is the type of fait we all need to have.

Adults communicate very often and therefore have a high level of communication skills while both children and animals do not communicate a high levels and they in turn express their communication in a different way like seeing angels and being open to God.

We, as adults, express ourselves so much that we miss so much as a result of growing away from our child like faith.

Think back to having imaginary friends – they felt so real and feel so real to so many children. Why can’t these “imaginary” friends be real but be either angels or jus the Holy Spirit the spoke in a different way. The Bible does state that the Holy Spirit speaks in MANY ways. We, as adults, may not see it as vividly because we live in such a fallen world that our perception falls.

Jump to Psalms 139

Psalm 139

New King James Version (NKJV)

God’s Perfect Knowledge of Man

139 O Lord, You have searched me and known me.
You know my sitting down and my rising up;
you understand my thought afar off.
You comprehend my path and my lying down,
and are acquainted with all my ways.
For there is not a word on my tongue,
but behold, O Lord, You know it altogether.
You have hedged me behind and before,
and laid your hand upon me.

After reading this excerpt, we see that our soul is eternal and if that is so then before being born of our mother’s womb we know the Lord but then as children do we remember this until a certain age and that is why we can still see angels more frequently or be more open to allowing God dwell inside our hearts?

Have you ever thought: maybe God has a mantel and picks us from it to put us on earth at our correct time and until then we talk to him and have a relationship with him?

So why is it so hard to believe and accept God now? We have a sinful nature that came when Adam and Eve ate from the tree of knowledge.

So, basically when a baby is born the baby is born with sin and with a sinful nature. The exception is that this baby turns into a child but will not go to hell until reaching the age of accountability and we teach them. Whether that be God is the “One True God” or not.

Look in Proverbs: Better is a man’s death than his birth.

We live for eternity
